Naturally Raised Meat

All of our meat is naturally raised without chemicals or antibiotics. This allows us to provide you with a higher quality meat that does not contain any harmful substances.

Pasture Raised, Grass Fed

Our animals, where possible are raised on pasture during the spring, summer and fall when there is ample grass and insect life to sustain them. During the winter our sheep are only fed hay, a natural source of food for them, while the poultry are fed only local, non-GMO feeds.

Treated with Respect

All our animals are treated with respect and cared for with concern for their phyiscal and mental well-being. They are never abused or confined to cramped, diseased spaces.

Our livestock are as important to our farm as the vegetables we grow. They not only provide us with meat and eggs, but also provide us with natural fertilizer for our fields.

  Our Newfoundland Sheep and Lambs

  Our sheep are a rare breed, originating in Newfoundland, Canada, hence their name. They were created through a wild blending of many different breeds of sheep, but over time have developed their own distinct genetic base.See more photos of our sheep

  Our Muscovy Ducks and Embden Geese

  We raise both our White Embden Geese and Muscovy Ducks on pasture all summer long to give them a chance to roam the fields eating grass, flies and other insects. They will often forage through the vegetation the sheep don't like as well as providing insect and pest control within the pastures.See more photos of our ducks and geese
